I recently stayed at the Mayrena Hotel in Eu for five nights. The beautiful building is conveniently located next to the railway station, making it easy to explore the area. Despite being so close to the trains, it was surprisingly quiet. Parking was a breeze, and there was plenty of space. The breakfast, although simple, was tasty and provided a satisfying start to the day. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.

It was also a short drive to the local stony beaches and marina.

Access to the top floor suite was via a difficult spiral metal fire escape. Carrying our suitcases up was a challenge, especially when we found out the second and third-floor doors required key-cards to open.
